Water activities need to be decided at the time of booking, as availability on the spot is not guaranteed!

The shortest boat ride:
(45 minutes/ 40€) is often the best balance, covering the main views of the lake without taking too much time.

Longer boat rides:
(1–2 hours/ 70–110€) are available if you prefer to spend more time on the water and see a wider area.

Kayaking is also possible, usually 1–2 hours, for a more active option.

The entrance fee to Skadar Lake National Park is 5€ per person if you choose to spend time on the water.

There are several options for lunch, depending on the time of day, weather, and your preferences. We decide during the tour what works best.

These are traditional local restaurants. The choice is not wide and might not suit picky eaters, but the food is simple, based on old recipes, good ingredients, and prepared with love.

A set menu is typically €20–30 per person, and this is what we usually recommend. It gives a full experience of the local food, and the value is better than ordering individual dishes.

If you prefer to keep it cheaper, you can also order just one dish (soup, salad, or a main course), but the choice of restaurants becomes more limited and the experience is more basic.

The winery visit needs to be arranged in advance (15€ per person).

All of this comes from their hard work and recipes built over generations. The focus is not on profit, but on hospitality, work, and the desire to preserve tradition so that future generations can continue it.

You can taste different wines and liqueurs, with simple local food served alongside to help refresh your palate between tastings.

We usually recommend trying whatever you find interesting, and then finishing with a glass or two of the one you like the most.

All additional activities (boat rides, kayaking, lunch, winery visits) are paid directly on the spot, without any added commission.

The price you receive already includes the time planned for the tour, including any agreed stops and activities, so the extended duration is already taken into account. There is no need to rush — the experience is meant to be relaxed, with enough time to enjoy each part of the day.

If anything additional is arranged during the tour beyond what was planned, the price will be explained at that point.

Once you decide which activities you would like to include, you will receive a final price based on the full plan of the tour, with all costs clearly listed.

It can be kept shorter if you are limited with time, or extended with activities like a boat ride, kayaking, lunch, or a winery visit.

Due to the nature of the route and the type of roads we use, the maximum group size is limited to 18 people. We typically organize tours for groups of 3–4, 7–8, or up to 18 people, depending on the vehicle.

This setup ensures that we can comfortably access all planned stops and keep the experience smooth and enjoyable.

This tour is led by a local guide whose family comes from the Skadar Lake area.

The focus is on a real connection to the place, with an emphasis on how people lived here and what the lake represents beyond what you see.

Rarely, the tour may be led by another guide from Montenegro — someone we work with and trust, who understands the experience and approach of the tour. If this happens, everything will be clearly explained in advance.

Payment is made in cash on the day of the tour. All details are agreed in advance, with no hidden costs or surprises. ATMs are easy to find if needed.

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we simply ask that you let us know as early as possible. We usually send a short reminder before the tour as well, to keep things clear and avoid misunderstandings.

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, you will always be informed as early as possible. Because we work with a limited number of private tours and focus strongly on quality, this situation is very rare. If it does happen, we will offer an alternative solution if available. When possible, we also try to provide a goodwill gesture for the inconvenience.

Tipping is not required, but it is always appreciated if you enjoyed the tour.
If you feel the experience was valuable and memorable, a tip is a nice way to show your appreciation.

There is very little walking involved. The tour is mostly a drive with photo stops along the way.

Access to the boat can be slightly more challenging, so it may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Comfortable shoes are still recommended.

If you plan to take a boat ride, a light jacket is recommended in cooler or rainy conditions. Sunglasses and sun protection are also useful during warmer days.

If you choose kayaking, it’s a good idea to bring a change of clothes.

The tour can still take place in most weather conditions, with adjustments to the plan if needed.

In case of heavy rain or unsuitable conditions for water activities, those parts can be skipped or replaced with other stops.
